 Does guanidinium thiocyanate denature RNA molecules or just the RNase enzymes? Does guanidinium thiocyanate denature RNA molecules or just the RNase enzymes? I'm pretty sure its just the enzymes.... Thanks,  |

| Re: Does guanidinium thiocyanate denature RNA molecules or just the RNase enzymes? Indeed, you are right. It denatures proteins. I donīt think it messes with hydrogen bonds, so it shouldnīt denature RNA, supossing your refering to RNA secondary structure. |
