| Hi, I have used silver staining and Brilliant Blue G Colloidal (Sigma). Even though the detection of the colloidal Blue G is less then the silver stain, the quality of the results was better. Now there is the possibility of using Bio-Safe Coomassie Stain (Bio-Rad). Apparentyly the sensitivity can be 8ng (the refered sensitivity of the rilliant Blue G Colloidal (Sigma) is 50ng. Has anyone compared the two? Is the bio-rad stain really better? thanks for your help Kalina |
