IEF problem
 

Hi, I am doing plant proteomics. I have a problem on my IEF as below:

1. My bromophenol blue is very difficult to reach to the end. What should I do?
I did TCA/Acetone protein precipitation on my sample.

2. After finished focusing, I notice that the gel was thicker at the both end of the strip. I am using strip pH 4-7, 7cm.
